Listing, step by step

  1. 01

Tell us what you are selling

Deal type first, because a share sale and an asset sale ask for different things. The form then only asks what your sector actually needs.

  2. 02

    Link the company

Search Companies House by name or number and we attach the record: legal name, status, officers and PSCs. That is what earns the Company linked badge.

  3. 03

    Set what stays private

Confidential on or off, and then field by field: who sees turnover, who sees the trading name, and the funding level a buyer must evidence before the data room opens.

  4. 04

We review, then it goes live

A person reads every listing before publication. Most are approved the same working day.

Accounts are not open to the public yet. The listing builder ships next; until then, get in touch and we will set a listing up with you.

Questions sellers ask

Will my staff find out?
Not from us. A confidential listing is a separate public record: the trading name, address and full description are never written into the page a visitor sees, and location is broadened to county. It is not hidden by styling, it is absent from the data.
What does it cost to complete?
Nothing. There is no success fee on this platform and there never will be. You pay for the listing package and that is the whole commercial relationship. The sale proceeds move between the parties' solicitors, and we never touch them.
Do I need a broker?
No. Owners list directly here and many do. If you would rather have representation, the broker directory shows who works in your sector and what they are marketing.
What if it does not sell?
The listing expires and redirects to your sector page, so any links to it keep working. Relisting updates the same record rather than creating a duplicate, so you never end up with three versions of your business on the site.
