What we collect
For visitors: nothing beyond what is needed to serve the page. For people who set an alert: an email address and the search it applies to. For people who enquire: name, email, optional telephone number and the message. For sellers and brokers: account details, the listing content, and the results of identity and authority checks.
Verification evidence
Where an identity, authority or funding check is carried out, we store the provider's result and the date, not the underlying documents or bank data. A trust badge is rendered from that result. Raw identity documents are never stored on this platform.
Alerts
Alerts are double opt-in: an address receives nothing until its owner clicks the confirmation link. Every alert carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes the address rather than flagging it.
Messages and confidentiality
Messages between buyers and sellers are stored so both sides and the platform have an audit trail. Before an NDA is signed, email addresses, telephone numbers and links are automatically removed from message bodies. This protects confidential sales and is applied on the server, not in the browser.
Document access
Data-room documents are held in private storage and served through short-lived signed links. Access is derived from a signed, unrevoked NDA. Every view is logged with the viewer, the document and the time, and that log is visible to the seller.
Who we share with
Our hosting, database, email and payment providers, each acting on our instructions. Verification providers, where you ask us to run a check. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Listing and deal records are kept while the account is open and for six years afterwards, which is the ordinary limitation period for a contractual claim. Unconfirmed alert signups are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
